PACD Legislative Program
PACD voting delegates approved an annual Legislative Program with suggested
monthly activities to promote the organization's legislative agenda.
The PACD Executive Board and Legislative Committee have approved a
statewide annual legislative program geared toward raising awareness
to PACD legislative issues. PACD asks district managers to discuss the
proposal with their local board members and consider implementing the
ideas. Activities with examples are being developed for each month.

General Tips for Meeting with Legislators:
- Always invite legislators to all your events such as your
awards dinners.
- Make sure you provide pictures for their newsletter and press.
- Send press releases out about once a month.
- Provide written material for each face-to-face meeting.
- Always send legislators your newsletters
