Leadership must be able to move group toward agreed upon goals in a timely manner

4. Commitment
Each person must be committed to accomplishing goals

5. Communication
Establish an effective communication system between coalition partners

6. Turf
Sensitive to turf concern. Openness about partners concerns/issues

7. Diversity/Gender/Ethnic Representation
Need to involve people from diverse backgrounds
