Catalog of Sample Policies for Pennsylvania's Conservation DistrictsComplaints Policy Staff members will be notified by the District in writing within thirty (30) calendar days of receipt at any substantive complaint from any source regarding their performance. Following such notification, the staff member's supervisor shall schedule a timely meeting with the staff member to discuss the complaint informally and, if possible, to resolve it. Such meeting shall normally take place during the staff member's work hours. If disciplinary action is deemed appropriate by the staff member's supervisor, he or she shall proceed in accordance with the District's disciplinary guidelines. No complaint shall result in disciplinary action unless the complaint is in writing, signed, and dated by the complainant. Nothing in this section shall be construed as taking the place of normal
evaluation procedures as set forth by the District. Nor shall this policy
be deemed to provide the only basis for discipline. |
