Sub-Committee Suggests Changes to PACD Bylaws

The PACD Bylaws Review Committee, a sub-committee of the Operations Committee, met on December 7, 2006 to review concerns that were submitted from conservation districts and questions for clarification that have arisen since the new bylaws took effect in July 2005. PACD staff worked with the PACD attorney to review the proposed changes and draft the appropriate language. The results were reviewed by the Committee during a conference call on December 28th.

The proposed changes will be reviewed by the Operations Committee during the PACD Winter Meeting on January 18, 2007. It will then be presented during the PACD Executive Council Meeting for discussion and review on January 19, 2007. The final version of the changes will be provided to districts in advance of the final voting which will take place during the PACD/SCC Joint Annual Conference in July.
