PACD Conservation Expo
Wednesday, October 27
- Conservation District Information Sharing and Exhibits from 4 to
6 PM and Reception from 5 to 6 PM
- For over 15 years, PACD has administered mini-grant programs
that support diverse educational needs. Some past mini-grant recipients
will be on hand to share their district's program and offer tips
for success.
Thursday, October 28
- Coffee Break at 10 am, with Program Representatives and Exhibits
on hand from 10 am to Noon.
- Conservation agency representatives and others will be on
hand to share information on programs and opportunities for conservation
districts.
The registration deadline for the PACD 2004 Fall Meeting is October
15, 2004. Don't delay, send in your registration today!

Issues Forum
Thursday, October 28, 8:30-10:00 a.m.
ACRE Initiative
Special guests Russell Redding, Executive Deputy Secretary for
the PA Department of Agriculture, and Michael Pechart, also with
the PA Department of Agriculture, will present an update on the
new ACRE Initiative.
New Employment Requirements
Special guest Brian Jackson from McNees Wallace & Nurick will
clarify the new employment requirements that took effect in August,
and will answer your questions.
Mr. Jackson's presentation is sponsored by the Building for
Tomorrow Leadership Development Program.
