Harrisburg - The Pennsylvania Association of Conservation Districts (PACD) is pleased to announce that Brenda J. Shambaugh has joined their staff as a Government Relations/Policy Specialist. Mrs. Shambaugh brings 25 years of legislative and policy experience to PACD.

"We are thrilled to have Mrs. Shambaugh as part of the PACD team," Susan Fox Marquart, PACD Executive Director said. "With her 25-plus-years of experience and knowledge of the legislative issues, she will be a true asset to our organization."

"Mrs. Shambaugh is a familiar face on Capitol Hill and well respected among the Senate and House representatives. Not only do I look forward to working with Mrs. Shambaugh, I am excited to have the added legislative clout on The Hill with the addition of the newly created legislative position."

As Government Relations/Policy Specialist, Mrs. Shambaugh will be responsible for implementing legislative initiatives and generating policy positions for PACD. She will also oversee several policy programs for the Association.

"I am anxious to begin my new position with the PACD. Over the years, I've had the opportunity to work side-by-side with PACD on many issues. I am proud to be part of such a well-respected organization and look forward to the many challenges that lie ahead," Shambaugh said.
