PACD Welcomes New Administrative Assistant

The Pennsylvania Association of Conservation Districts, Inc. would like to extend a warm welcome to its newest staff member - PACD Administrative Assistant, Molly Burns.

She joined the PACD staff in early March and had the opportunity to meet with a number of Pennsylvania's conservation district officials during the PACD Legislative Conference.

Molly has lived in the Washington, D.C., area for most of her life and is a newcomer to the state of Pennsylvania. She has also lived in Minnesota and Baltimore, MD. Molly brings a wealth of experience in conference planning, office organization and administrative support with her to PACD. She is a graduate of the College of Notre Dame of Maryland, with a degree in philosophy, and has worked extensively with nonprofit organizations.

"I have always been drawn to the nonprofit world, where the work furthers a cause, rather than a profit margin," she said. "This, combined with a strong interest in conservation makes my position at PACD a great fit."
