Former Manager Hired as DEP Field Rep

Karen Ely is the new DEP Conservation District Field Representative for the South East Region. Before accepting this position, Karen was the manager of Northumberland County Conservation District for three years. Before that, Karen served as the district environmental educator for four years.

She now works out of the DEP South East Region office in Norristown. "This position is a natural step from being manager. This is an opportunity to help more than one district," she said. Karen can be contacted at kaely@state.pa.us.
