News & Notes January 2002NACD to Host Annual Meeting in Reno The National Association of Conservation Districts, Inc., will host its 56th Annual Meeting, Feb. 3 – 7, 2002, in Reno, Nevada. It is a unique opportunity to familiarize with conservation issues on the national scene, and conservation district personnel from across the United States are looking forward to attending the meeting. In addition, the NACD Executive Board and various NACD committees will be meeting to set policy for the upcoming year.PACD President Ron Rohall, and NACD Representative Pat Sueck will be representing Pennsylvania at the meeting. “The meeting is a time of fellowship, a great chance to meet people from across the nation and learn how they operate in their home state,” Sueck said. “I invite you all to come and see our national association at work.” The meeting will be held at the John Asuagas’s Nugget Hotel, in the Reno/Lake Tahoe Area, and is being promoted as the largest conservation-related gathering in the nation.
