PACD Education Forum
(Friday Oct. 31, 2003)

Friday will be dedicated to a one time special PACD Education Forum. With grant support from the Canaan Valley Institute, PACD will obtain input to develop a plan to guide conservation education efforts in Pennsylvania. The Education Forum is being held to find out what education programs districts are doing and to also make a plan for future conservation education. The plan will allow PACD to develop a strategy for supporting education in the districts.

PACD is asking each district to send one staff member and one director to the PACD Education Forum.

Meeting activities have been planned to make the most use of conservation district director's and staff time. All luncheons will be combined to enable additional time for communication and networking. There is a lot going on at the 2003 Fall Meeting. Don't miss out!

Registration materials will be mailed in early September. They are also available on the PACD website at www.pacd.org. The registration deadline is Monday, October 20. Don't delay, send in your registration today!
