Controlling Road Runoff with a Conveyor Belt Diversion
The district will create a brochure describing the use and installation
of a dirt road drainage control to reduce erosion, improve road performance
and reduce maintenance. The conveyor belt diversion prevents water scour
on roads by diverting water off the road. The diversion eliminates the
need for high maintenance road swales and the belt's flexibility permits
vehicles to drive over it without destroying the water diverting qualities.
