Nomination Directions for County Conservation Districts
1. Nominate one farmer in your county with operation(s) located within
Pennsylvania's portion of the Chesapeake Bay drainage basin. Farmers
who have been recognized by the Clean Water Farm Award Program during
the years 2003-2007 are not eligible for the 2008 Program.
2. Complete the Nomination Form and
the Criteria Checklist.
3. Award nominations are judged strictly on the basis of written materials
received. Be sure to include a narrative description with your award
nomination. Photos are not required, but encouraged. (Please label
any photos that are included with what practice is being shown.)
4. Mail your nomination materials to the PACD office, postmarked no
later than February 28, 2008:

5. Clean Water Farm Award winners will be recognized in July 2008 during
the PACD Conservation Awards Program. Clean Water Farm Award Program
winners will receive a Certificate of Recognition, signed by the secretaries
of the Departments of Agriculture and Environmental Protection. Winners
will also receive a Clean Water Farm Award Sign to post on their property.
