White Ash Land Association AMD Remediation Project
This project is part of an ongoing effort to alleviate the effects
of acid mine drainage (AMD) in the upper reaches of the Loyalsock
Creek Watershed. The project enhances existing treatment by providing
additional buffering of AMD seeps and further stabilizing reclaimed
areas. This ongoing project continues to serve as an educational
outreach tool in the treatment of acid mine drainage impaired
headwaters tributaries.
