EPCAMR 3-D Display of Mine Drainage in a Mine Pool
EPCAMR constructed a hands-on, educational 3-D model/display
of acid mine drainage in a mine pool. The model demonstrates
the flow of mine water through a clear plastic underground mine
complex. The display was used at various fairs, school events
and workshops. The model complimented an AMD passive treatment
systems model, constructed several years ago, and funded through
a Chesapeake Bay Educational Mini-Project Grant.
