"We All Live Downstream" Placemats
Placemats which showcase the efforts being taken to improve local
water quality and ultimately the Chesapeake Bay were designed, printed
and distributed to area restaurants. The goal was to spark more
public interest in becoming involved with the clean-up of the Chesapeake
Bay.

Event Specific Table Top Displays
The district developed several display layouts that address local
nonpoint source pollution problems. Each display targets a different
audience (e.g. farmers, homeowners, local officials, etc.) depending
upon the event at which it will be used.

Public Awareness, Chesapeake Bay Headwaters
The Indiana Conservation District designed and erected three signs
in the community of Cherry Tree - promoting "The Headwaters
to the Chesapeake Bay." Cherry Tree is located on the West
Branch of the Susquehanna at a point where the river becomes navigable
for canoes. The signs incorporate the PA Chesapeake Bay Education
Office logo along with a unique fact about the Bay, or a tip for
enhancing water quality.

Conservation District Table Top Display
The district developed a display highlighting its programs, most
of which directly relate to the Chesapeake Bay. Topics to be featured
included erosion and sedimentation control projects, watershed cleanups,
educational programming, best management practices, and the Dirt
and Gravel Road Program.
