Reducing the Misuse of Pesticides and Nonpoint Source Pollution
via Innovative Public Education
The BugMobile is a traveling, real-time "talking" Volkswagen
Bug painted like a ladybug. This interactive exhibit raises public
awareness of integrated pest management and ways to minimize the
effects of pesticides on humans and the environment. This project
expands "The BugMobile" program through development of
new materials and displays elements specifically to meet the need
for urban/suburban nonpoint source pollution prevention education.
