Groundwater and Its Place and Affect on the Chesapeake Bay
The district purchased groundwater flow models (EnviroScape® and enVision) to illustrate how human activity within a watershed, whether it be septic system installation or maintenance, well construction or placement, or practices around a sink hole or well head, can impact water quality within an aquifer.

Provided free to local homeowners, the workshop provides practical information on designing, installing, operating and maintaining residential septic systems. The overall goal was to enhance watershed conservation, education and stewardship.

Managing Your Residential Septic System Workshop
