Wetland Restoration/Enhancement
The Lebanon County wetlands educational site was enhanced through
the addition of aquatic plants to reduce erosion and increase filtering
capacity. Greater plant diversity on the wetlands will help improve
water quality downstream by reducing sediment and nutrients. It
also will lead to greater animal diversity and ultimately to a better
learning experience for those using the study site.
