Biosolids Mobile Display
Armstrong County requested grant funding to pay for a display
board to educate the public about the beneficial uses of biosolids.
The display will be used at workshops, field days, and local fairs.
Armstrong County Conservation District, in the past, made use
of a biosolids display that is owned by the Butler Conservation
District.

Bio-Solids Mobile Display
A table-top display illustrates how land applied bio-solid material
would be managed and utilized by the soil. It covers how on-lot
systems work, the nutrient cycle from consumption to food production
and management options for septic bio-solids. The display will
be taken to schools, civic organizations, and public meetings
along with supporting literature appropriate to the audience.
