Upper Perkiomen Conservation Education
Trout Unlimited used the grant money to promote conservation and
reduce nonpoint source pollution. They created and distributed
folders to approx. 100 landowners along the Upper Perkiomen Creek.
They also built two kiosks, which will be used to display information
on upcoming conservation programs, and they are developing a website
dedicated to the local chapter of Trout Unlimited, and conservation
efforts within the watershed.

Rose Tree Park NPS Best Management Practice Demo Site
This project demonstrated various best management practices to
municipalities and visitors to Rose Tree Park in Delaware County.
Stormwater, pet waste, and first order stream protection were
addressed with simple techniques that can be imitated by municipalities
and the public at low costs in their parks, homes and open space.

Poster Contest/We All Live Downstream Placemats
The Indiana Conservation District produced "We All Live Downstream"
placemats, and distributed them to area restaurants. The placemats
featured artwork of county poster contest winners.

Poster Contest/Nonpoint Source
The Indiana County Conservation District designed and printed
2,000 placemats displaying pictures of winning entries from the
district's poster contest. The pictures are surrounded with tips
and facts that the local community can use to control nonpoint
source pollution in their neighborhood. The finished placemats
were provided to eleven restaurants throughout the county and
were used during the weeks between Thanksgiving and Christmas.
