Stormwater Management Education -- -BMP Location and Effects
This project inventoried existing stormwater best management practices (BMPs) and implemented a strategy to educate municipalities, landowners, and others about "the changing face" of stormwater management. The project began with two impaired streams and served as a model for a county-wide inventory. The district, with project partners, held workshops in the areas studied to explain how specific problems from stormwater pollution affect the community and to identify specific sites as priorities for restoration.
