The conservation district expanded its existing website to include educational information for the community, including how to get involved with local watershed organizations, fact sheets on NPs reduction, links to cooperator sites and special events.

Environmental Education Webpage
The conservation district developed and promoted a webpage that will serve as an environmental education resource for municipalities, contractors, watershed groups and the public. The site includes information on nonpoint source pollution, conservation techniques, permitting, drought regulations, stormwater issues and more. The district intends, over time, to have the site become a clearinghouse for Delaware County watershed resources.

The district developed a webpage, as part of its own website, that will provide an opportunity for the county's entire watershed conservation community to network and pursue projects of mutual interest. Each watershed association and conservation organization was linked to the page and their input will drive some of the page's content. The district views the webpage as in important component in a comprehensive watershed awareness campaign, the final product of which should be an enlightened public.
