Watershed Newsletter Update
A county-wide newsletter was updated for use by watershed organizations
to use as an education and recruitment tool. The newsletter was mailed
to over 500 organizations and individuals in Lancaster County in hopes
of stirring further interest in watershed protection.

Newspaper insert explains what a watershed is, showcases the county's

Municipal Groundwater Outreach Initiative
Pike County Conservation District's 2004-2005 Municipal Groundwater
Outreach Initiative provided a tool kit to municipal officials. This
project was funded by the League of Women Voters of PA through a Water
Resources Education Network grant.
