Featuring Mini-grants funded through the PA Department of Environmental Protection

Mini-Grant Catalog

The Pennsylvania Association of Conservation Districts, Inc. administers several mini-grant programs with funds provided by the PA Department of Environmental Protection through its PA Chesapeake Bay Program and EPA Section 319 Program divisions.

The objectives of the mini-grants programs are to promote the We All Live Downstream message by:

  • Stimulating an awareness and interest in Pennsylvania's nonpoint source water pollution problems and solutions;
  • Publicizing and/or demonstrating the value of new and innovative ways to address nonpoint source pollution including practices which address soil and nutrient savings and;
  • Encouraging homeowners, local officials, farmers, and other citizens to take action to reduce nonpoint source pollution, improve water quality, and help protect the watershed.   The PA Chesapeake Bay Program places special emphasis on Pennsylvania's connection with the living resources of the Chesapeake Bay estuary.

Grant recipients provide both interim status reports and a final report.  All projects are funded on a reimbursement basis.  Salaries are not an approved expenditure of mini-grant funds.
